The lad missed his optician appointment yesterday as he had legged-it to Casualty with the bad stomach pains he has had for ages. They sent him home with a note for our GP. The GP just told him to keep on taking the meds for another month.

Pol is going with him to see the GP today as she says he is not explaining the situation well enough. I offered to do it, but she has taken his health to heart.

I trimmed the lavender hedge. It's getting a bit old and leggy now, so it might not grow back.

I have the hinges to repair the bathroom toilet seat. I have reduced the size of the holes in the pedestal with a bit of "ingenuity" and silicone mastic.
