An aged neighbour called. Her "kettle had blown up".

A couple of checks and I found that her spraying the electrical socket with water had caused the socket to explode at the switch.

All the sockets in the kitchen are now dead until she gets a new socket so that I can do a swap over.

I have a neighbour's mains socket to swap once she returns with a new one.

All done, and she was glad to have the central heating back on. If I had known it was on the same circuit, I would have found a way to power it up.

A neighbours' brother left his car lights on again. The battery went down to 6.7 volts, so that killed it forever. But it was 3 years older than his car!

A new one was £88 in Halfords, so I told him to try a motor factors that I used to use. £64 and he had one in stock.

I fitted it and reset his radio.

Haircut and beard trim. I've had to postpone it so many times it was starting to really irritate me.

The missus has a blood test at 11, then a BP test at 4. They couldn't do both at the same time.  :grumpy.

The twins will also be going to the GP for BP and blood tests, but at the same time!

The twins have been muttering about a trip to Asda. Very little attracts me to Asda these days, but I might take them just for a few hours out of the house for the lad.
