I cut and filed the missus' toenails.

It used to be a free service at the GP.
Then she had to go to another location.
Then it was £5.
Then £12 in an old Folks Home just prior to covid.
Post covid it went up to £22.

She called this morning and it is £25, and will rise to £28 after April 1st.

No plans, but the warm sunshine is calling me to go outside.

Phone call with my sister in 2 hours

No plans, but I have a hectic week of being a taxi driver, so I'll take a break today.

Take the missus to an appointment. After picking her up, we have shopping to do at Aldi.

Then I shall drop off the prescription requests and then get 10% off at Lidl.

I shall take the missus to the hairdressers, then I am free.

Lunch at Asda then shopping with Pol. I shall try to get the car washed there, but it's usually closed due to a fault.

Tâf

The car wash was faulty.

First my card was declined.
Then it was approved, but the lights telling me to move forwards didn't work.
I went around again, thinking the payment had failed.
The card was approved, but once again the lights failed to operate.
Third time it worked with no problem.

I called the company, and she said she could see exactly what had happened, so she did a hard reset to make it work.

A full refund is on it's way, even if I had not called them to ask for one.

The missus has a blood test due this morning, but the GP called at teatime yesterday asking to see her instead.

I have to post a form back to HMRC to shift some of the missus' Personal Tax Allowance to me, so that we save on Income Tax.
