I was asked to buy Aldi Hot Cross Buns. The place was deserted, but it was a madhouse this morning, with people buying several legs of lamb each.

Lidl had ZERO Easter stuff on display, even the free Malteser Bunnies were all gone. The missus wants me to look for cheaper choc stuff at Aldi, but I suspect all theirs will be gone too,

I walked to Aldi and B&M.

I bought AA batteries in both places, both 26p each, but the B&M ones were Panasonic with a 7-year storage guarantee,

The lad wants to go out for a change, so we'll hit the chippy opposite Home Bargains for a treat.
