The GP surgery was "closed for training" and their letterbox was sealed shut.

I shall try again to move the twins from ESA to Universal Credit. The site crashed 4 times yesterday, very infuriating as the application has to start from scratch each time.

Their 0800 number just stuck on hold for almost an hour.

I have some outdoor woodwork to do. Actually, I have a LOT of outdoor woodwork to do.

I have finished repairing the planter out front. Now I'm going to decide if it needs painting or not.

No plans, but I may need to buy a couple of sweet peppers.

Lidl with the missus after lunch, then I shall walk to Tesco to collect our prescriptions. A new one for the missus has to be written-up by the GP, but it's a Bank Holiday so they are closed today.

As I approached Tesco, I could see that they were closed again for the Bank Holiday. But I had the last cash out of the cash machine.

I have to go back to Tesco to pick up our meds, but also drop a note to the GP, and maybe even take the lad shopping.
