No plans yet, and rain is forecast for later.

Lidl with the missus, then a walk over to Tesco to get her meds.

Tesco has been unable to source insulin for several days. A promise for yesterday was broken, so fingers crossed for today. They are also out of almost all their Vitamin and Omega oil packs.

I walked a newly-arrived French student to the Tesco pharmacy yesterday, as she was totally lost and needed insulin too. The pharmacist told her to go to the hospital and request an emergency prescription. Luckily she had registered with a GP yesterday, so had a prescription to replace the insulin pens that got damaged in her baggage during the trip over.

Had regular 6 monthly blood check this morning, nothing else

No insulin at Tesco yet, but the delivery transport is 5 hours late.

He dropped-out at the last minute. But at least that meant I could get the shopping done much faster.

The lad has a telephone interview at 10:35 to prove his identity for the move from ESA to UC.

I have gathered documents and details, as I have been told that they are liable to ask some daft questions.

Pol had an email setting an appointment for today at 11:00 for a telephone interview with Universal Credit to move from ESA.

This morning at 9, this was changed to next Tuesday by email.

The lad also had an email setting an appointment for today at 11:35 for a telephone interview with Universal Credit to move from ESA.

It didn't happen.

I cannot log in to his "journal" as it won't go live until his ID is confirmed, but I could get as far as a page stating "Get ready for your telephone appointment today at 11:35"

I called the hotline, and they just kept telling me to log into his "journal"!!!!

So I tried the website again, and lo and behold "Get ready for your telephone appointment on 1st October at 10:20".

After all that I changed wiper blades for a neighbour. I'll have to do it again as he bought short ones, and had already broken the packaging, so will have to buy a new pair.
