Tired, slept really well until 5.30 then woke up and couldn't drop off again

I slept until after 9. I'm up, but a bit woozy, so I'm rehydrating.

A guy around the corner has a new imported Lexus RZ ev. It is dead quiet, but the tyre noise is loud! And he likes to accelerate hard as he passes our home very morning. It has woken me for the past few mornings.

We have a young bloke on the estate who likes to roar past up our avenue right onto a busy main road. Hes so noisy that the dog runs into the kitchen and hides. I always want the police to be just going past and catch him.
It's 20 speed limit on these tiny roads. Kids playing out who will have no chance.

After many complaints, they lay in wait for a guy near us with a loud exhaust. He was done for no catalytic converter, excess (gas) emissions, excess noise ... and speeding!

Hot and sweaty

I had the windows and door open, and the curtains opened a crack to shift some air. But it just stuck at 28c all night. The light woke me several times, as did the sound of ambulance sirens many times.

Still tiered

The binmen woke me before 7, then it was calf cramp.
