Loud binmen twice after 7:30, then a lot of ambulance sirens as they got stuck in traffic outside Tesco. Something has to be done about that, but the council are useless at anything to do with traffic.

I pulled-out my chair and sat down to eat lunch. My butt contacted a huge pile of vomit from one of the cats.

My online banking was blocked. It took Santander 5 minutes to answer the phone, 20 minutes to figure out they had no idea what was going on, 40 minutes to get through to Fraud, then 10 minutes on hold until they figured-out the software error and corrected it.

It used to be an 0800 number but is now payable at 10p per minute, so I used Pol's unlimited phone.

Quite weary now, I shall chance a short nap.

Orange strobes and loud diesel engines just after 5 am again as another convoy slipped past on its way to the flats.

I dropped-off, but then Pol woke me as she prepared for her Friday course in town,

Really weary this morning, it took the alarm to wake me.

The downpour woke me just after 6, but I managed to drop off again.

[Tâf]

I went out like a light last night, but still woke far too early.

Weary. I was woken by an argument in the street. It was probably a local having a go at a Uni student parking outside someone's house.

Guess who didn't get the reminder email from the council to tell me to put the black bin out?

A local "village" on the route to Asda has roadworks. That has meant mile-long queues either side, changes of bus routes, and warnings about emergency vehicle access.

So I had to take the long way around, but still got caught in snarled traffic due to a minor accident.

Up, but weary.

Changing the door mechanism on a uPVC door should take 15 minutes, but I have just spent 3 hours trying to get the new one to operate correctly.

I'll try again tomorrow with more lubrication.
