Someone figured out that the only way to sweep the road gutters around here is to do it before the Uni student start parking their cars. So they started just after 7am....

Tired, bitty nights sleep last night

[Tâf]

The house has been around 19c, so no need of the heating yet. But this morning it's 17c in the bedroom and kitchen, and 14c in the hall and landing.

Slept better last night

[Tâf]

I slept well, but I'm still waking too early. Seeing the thermometer read 15c, I decided to stay under the quilt for a little longer.

Awake too early again, but I took some duvet time before getting up. The house is at 18.5c now, with the hall at 16, so the settings seem adequate.

Didn't want to get out of bed this morning

[Tâf]

The roar of the rain woke me at 7:35, then, because the leaves are blocking the drains, the cars driving through the puddles kept me awake.

[Tâf]

To get back home I have to drive into Tesco and turn around to get back.

Today the police were there waving drivers away as there was a huge queue for the petrol station.

Luckily, they waved me through.
