Unclog the drain took 1 minute. To recover the rubber disk at the end of the drain rod that unscrewed and fell off took 10 minutes.

Considering that most of North Cardiff has had the 20 limit for almost a year, most traffic was being very careful to stay well under 20. Logjams everywhere.

I was woken by loud rainfall, but dropped-off for another hour.

Very heavy downpours woke me a couple of times.

The agony of driving at 15mph in 30mph zones because people don't understand the new law. I spotted 2 new fixed speed cameras in the 3-mile round trip.

A bit weary.

They have known that the missus' situation is a broken stent, but they keep postponing the repair. She is livid.

Sore arm after COVID jab

The missus has had 9 stent-replacement procedures cancelled at the last moment. She is going stir-crazy, so they fitted her in this afternoon. All done, and they say she can come home tomorrow. If she doesn't get released, she will just walk out, carrying the wifi kit that has been monitoring her blood oxygen levels.

Arm OK today

I was woken by DPD just after 9, so I must have been out for the count.

[Tâf]

The missus looks a lot better. Some meds she has been taking for several years have been stopped as they were screwing with her kidneys. Now she looks a lot less bloated, especially her feet. A consultant was on the warpath due to her being on those meds.

I woke with cold shoulders this morning, so time to dig out the pyjama tops.
