I didn't wake until just after 9!

I drove to pick up the missus from hospital.
I dropped off our daughter so that she could bring her down in a wheelchair.
9 minutes to get into the multi-storey car park.
Another 5 minutes waiting to be called to pick them up.
17 minutes to get out of the UHW multi-storey car park.
11 minutes to drive 150 yards to the hospital exit where she and our daughter were waiting.
Then 42 minutes to drive just over ONE MILE to our home.
It would have been much longer had I not used a back road to get around the last stretch of solid traffic.

Didst't sleep last night

Something disturbed the Tesco gulls just after 7am, then a heavy shower woke me shortly after that.

I need a nap.

Tesco gulls just after 7, then a reversing beeper, a helicopter, a convoy of trucks and noisy magpies, so I gave up and got up just after 8.

Slept better last night

I had a short nap after lunch, and it really did me some good.

[Tâf]

I didn't wake until 10am.

I woke after 9, got up but feel weary already.

Something woke me before dawn, but I managed to drop off again.

I was surprised that a long, hot soak didn't send me off to the land of Nod.
