Been flaky on boot up for a while.. Attempts to repair HDD failed.  No CD drive.

Narked at amazon. I ordered a fan yesterday for same day delivery. Company dispatched it at 12 so my money went out. Email at 7 saying there is a delay and I will get it 19-21st  Another email this morning and it's gone to the wrong depot for delivery.
I can have a refund if not here by the 22ndb
So, went on this morning for another bleeding fan to come today. Got my email saying it will arrive today. Let's just see
If it doesn't come, I'm cancelling amazon totally.

I ordered this one for Pol as the remote control one died (as did the other one we had). It's pull-cord operated and the one we've had for 3 years and still works perfectly.

Tired, didn't sleep to well last night in the heat, woke up wandering what the peculiar noise was, I'd dropped off with the fan on
