I was half asleep when the heating came on at 7. The next thing I knew, it was just after 9 and the phone rang. It was Council contractors wanting to do an electrical safety check, starting at 9:15. Nope, we are on a list which states "work after noon".

I was half awake at 7 again. 

[Tâf]

I'm really pooped after my work in the garden.

Something woke me not long after 4am. I drifted in-and-out until I noticed it was after 11am!

I was awake before the heating at 7. So I'm surprised that I feel OK now.

[Tâf]

We arrived at the Tesco petrol station. All coned-off, but a big sign saying "No Fuel Sales but Car Wash Open".

So the lad moved a cone, and we drove in, past another sign saying the same. But in front of the car wash is a sign "closed until 9am", but it was 10 am. 2 workers then yelled over, "It's shut until the whole site is reopened".



Luckily there is another branch of the car wash not too far away, so I'll take the car for a 50mph run.

The binmen woke me just before 7, then the Tesco gulls started a racket as they ripped-open some green binbags across the street.

Then my belly started rumbling.... chippy curry wanted to visit the loo.

The missus is like a cat for hiding any discomfort she is feeling. She woke me this morning to say that she has had a growing pain in the upper jaw for days. The first emergency dental appointment is next Monday!
