I had a vivid dream about when we were trapped on the moors overnight during a snowstorm.

I had a good kip for once.

I had a nice afternoon nap for an hour.

Shattered, an awful nights sleep

I woke early, but dropped-off for a while longer. It's so quiet out there, despite it being the school holidays.

[Tâf]

Knackered. Home Bargains, Lidl, Aldi and Farm Foods with the ladies is slooooooow....

Bed at midnight, the lad burst in at 1am to say he was having a panic attack, woke at 7, dropped -off for an hour, woke in a sweat.

No sign of the binmen yet.

The lad has been having some abdominal pains. He called the NHS hotline, and it was busy, with a message to call the GP. The GP line was busy, telling him to make an appointment. The appointment line can't take any more messages.

So he'll go there in person and take on the receptionist.

The woman in charge of NHS Wales has just been promoted to First Minister.

The missus' cataract op:

"The process starts as soon as you arrive.

10 minutes for prep and documentation.

20 minutes for the procedure.

You will then be able to be escorted home."

It's been over 2 hours and no phone call to ask me to collect her, and the department is not answering its phone.

The surgeon had been called to ER, so didn't start the cataract ops until just before 3. I got the call to collect the missus at 3:20, got there and there were 4 women waiting for the op, with more arriving at any time.

The dedicated car park had been closed-off as some nutter had driven in, smashed into 2 parked cars and the ramp into the building before fleeing. I had to pass a No Entry sign in order to get the car out. I hope that Parking Eye didn't spot that.

The missus has had a letter from HMRC. They have no record of her caring for our twins since birth, or of here Receiving Carers Allowance from when they were about 3 years old.

So she has to check eligibility online, then make a claim to secure her State Pension.
