The latest power bill came during last week. Unit prices ever so slightly down, but Standing Charges up again.

We're going out after lunch, so of course the missus and the lad were up and being noisy before 8 this morning.

I was awakened by a noisy diesel van chugging away outside just before 7. It was still there when I got up an hour later. It was a delivery van awaiting instructions.

[Tâf]

The binmen woke at about 7, then about 7:30, then again at 10. 

The 3rd lorry makes a loud, piercing whine as it moves, it has raised a lot of complaints so has been moved to later collection periods.

I was wide awake at 7:30, got bored and got up a few minutes later.

I grabbed a half hour nap before shopping as I really needed it.

Heavy rain woke me about 8.

An unopened tub of bird fatballs, stored in the shed, is just a mass of moulds. Best Before April 2026.
