The post-lunch lie-down was very welcome.

I woke far too early, but snuggled down for a few hours. 

[Tâf]

The traffic heading towards us was solid when we left for the missus' jab, and it was solid the other way when we returned. Sheer luck for once.

I woke a few times, but rolled-over until my bladder alarm went off.

[Tâf]

The missus and Pol got up extra early and their moving around woke me.

[Mike]

It was white van mayhem out there just now. No giving way, pulling out of side-streets and hurtling past well over the speed limits.

[Mike]

Indian scam call at 8:25, then another just after 11. 

[Tâf]

A shower woke me up, but I faded quickly. 

I thought it was Monday until I saw a neighbour putting her recycling bags out.

[Tâf]

I was half awake when a loud thump woke me. I got up and saw that it was a police van and an unmarked Immigration van. Then a locksmith arrived.

A bit later, I was outside and a neighbour told me that the house had been raided a couple of weeks back and many young males taken away. The third time?

So that was why I wasn't being woken by their transport beeping its horn.

Didn't want to get out of bed this morning

The heating pipes clicking woke me at 7, but I dropped-off for a bit longer.
