The "storm" didn't wake me at all. But a chainsaw and chipper did, just after 9.

I slept well but woke too early.

Cold after being outside for nearly an hour

I woke, lay there for a bit, then I had a calf cramp. It was just before 5:30. But I dropped-off easily until after 10.

I was woken by cars driving through deep puddles, then had a bizarre period of vivid waking dreams.

I woke too early and couldn't drop off again. Then a racket in the street, shouting and banging, got me up for a peek. No sign of the cause.

It was a confrontation between a resident and students who had dared moved his wheelie bins off the edge of the pavement to protect "his parking spaces". The family has 3 cars.

A short nap was very welcome after lunch.

The binmen woke me, but weren't as noisy as they can be.
