The GP says the missus' script was collected by Tesco on the 7th. Tesco says they didn't collect any on the 7th.

We cannot request a new copy of the script by phone, as they class that as a "repeat prescription request".

So the missus has to go in person to see the receptionist, who will pass a note to the GP, who will take 48 hours to sign a new one. Then it will be collected by Tesco "at some point" and be available to collect "in about 2 days".

The Tesco gulls woke me several times after dawn.

Minutes after I arranged a copy of the missus' script to be sent out, Tesco called to say that they had found the original, and the item was ready to collect.



I was woken by the loud squealing of the bin truck's compactor.

Pooped, despite a short nap.

The gulls woke me before 5, the next thing I knew, the phone was ringing just before 10.

I was woken several times during the night, so was not feeling at my best when I eventually got up.

Totally pooped. I only just managed to pick up the missus and then get the lad to the dentist with a minute to spare.

Then the traffic was manic all over my route.

I just finished sealing the shed doors when someone lit a fire and the air was filled with paper ash that settled all over them.
