I zonked-out after lunchtime.

The binmen woke me just after 6am. A day late, but still as noisy.

I slept like a log until I was woken by a truck reversing sounder. Over and over and over.... and before 8am!

Another afternoon lie-down turned into a 45-minute snooze.

We had every upstairs window open until bedtime, mainly due to the humidity.

I woke thinking it was Sunday, so had a lie-in.

Ditto, I'm usually not wearing jammy tops at this time of year, perhaps now is the time to ditch them.

I had a short nap, then a relaxing shower. I feel all the better for both.

OK slept better last night

A cooler night with jammies.

Chainsaws and disk cutters since after 8, and a loud crew shouting instructions back and forth.

Phonecall at 2pm:

"I will be arriving in 30 minutes to inspect the condition of your landlord's property as part of our contract".

"NOPE! The timing is not acceptable for us. Please comply with the landlord's covenant, and give us 24 hours' written notice of any visit by a landlord's agent.

"I'll drop off a note this afternoon, and inspect tomorrow".

"Nope! The timing is nor acceptable to us. Please ask now to arrange a visit, then supply us with a written notice at least 24 hours beforehand".

"Next Tuesday?"

"OK, I await your written notice".

Sweaty. The walk to Aldi was awful with the wind dragging heat about over the tarmac.
