I called the dentist the moment they opened, and got a cancellation with the boss this Wednesday. Sheer luck as their calendar is otherwise full for weeks.

Both pregnant dentists left on Friday, never to return. So I was seen by a third generation dentist who qualified last Autumn.

He smoothed the tops of the root, then covered it all over, hopefully to last until April when the new dentist arrives and will start the process to give me a top denture set.
