Tired, had trouble dropping off again last night

A contractor is sat in his van outside with the engine running and a loud phone conversation ratling on and on.

I woke too early again, but feel OK.

Ambulances on the main road woke me, sirens on, so traffic must be heavy.

Up very early, but need to nap later for work

Had to get up far to early

Someone turned the heating thermostat down to 14c. It's only 16c in here.

It was showing 11.5 in the hall at 7.30 am  . Heating is on full blast and it's still only 13.5 in there.
I'm dreading my winter fuel bill

40 minutes until our eye tests, I lifted the car bonnet to remove the trickle charger lead. The earth lead had been pulled out of the croc clip. Cat pulled it, perhaps?

Anyway, the battery was flat, so I called a taxi. It arrived, and it was like herding cats: the missus wanted the loo, the lad forgot his coat and his trousers kept falling down, and Pol wandered off looking for a mask. We were all set to go 5 minutes before!!

£3.60 waiting time for the taxi!!
