Lidl had 64Gb memory sticks on sale at £9.99. Today they were £4.99, so I bought a few for archiving.

Calcium carbonate antacids have been impossible to find. But suddenly they appeared in Morrisons, but more than double the price of a year or so ago. Boots say they have them, but when the lad asked for them, he was told they haven't had any for ages.

I like tart drinks, so was lucky to find cases of a sugar-free drink dropped from £1.09 to 39p per bottle.

A car cover with a 3-year warranty from Lidl. My car was on its list, so it should fit perfectly. And it was reduced to £9.99 from £13.99.

B&M had some very shabby Impatients plants on sale, 3 trays for £6 (18 plants).

As I walked past, the boss knocked them all down to 10p a tray. So I took a step back and found the only 3 trays that were perfect (out of the wind).

The lad asked me to buy "Banana and Shrimp ice lollies" in Aldi. I asked one of the staff where they were, and she almost threw up.

Citric acid powder and MSG.

A primer bulb for a neighbour's petrol lawnmower, and a pack of 3 strimmer cassettes for another. Shop prices were 3 times as expensive, other online places doubled the prices with p+p.

New toaster, mine blew this morning

10 tins of Flageolet beans from Waitrise, the only place that stocks them now, but at 70p they are not the usual Waitrose rip-off.

Whilst in there, I saw apples at £1 each.

Lidl had loads of 1kg packs of chicken mini fillets, all 60% off. Thankyou for that!

Aldi knocked down expensive branded pop to 49p from £1.99, so I cleared the shelf. Also root beer for the lad and blueberry fizz for the missus.

4 small tarpaulins to aid in my fight against the Marestail infestation coming in from next door.

I ordered a drain rod set from Temu as there is no way I'll pay the council to clear our drains. I added some PIR LED USB-rechargeable lamps to get free postage.
