The lad's PIP renewal form.

Not as complicated as the original forms, but a fair bit of writing to do, unlike the "soft touch" approach they said they would be doing (e.g. Are you still the same? Have your bank details changed? Are you still living in the same place?).

And under 3 weeks to do it all, a short time if supporting letters had to be arranged.

It must be difficult to get supporting letters off Dr's and professionals that haven't actually seen people . It makes you wonder how they will do new pip assessments.

For those that need them, it's going to be a rough round of reassessments. Luckily, the lad is not seen by any specialists, despite being put on a list to see 2 a few years back. And this new form says that "supporting letters from GPs are not allowed".

Notification that Santander is closing down all the 0800 numbers. They will all be payable on 0330 numbers. Last timer I had to call them, I was on hold for just under an hour!

A mate has been informed that his leccy standing charge is going up from 24.2 to 56.4!!!

He has also been told that as his meter also supplies his "commercial kitchen" he either has to have a separate meter for the kitchens, or not have ANY Price Cap applied.
