The box to return the lad's Virginmedia TIVO arrived. I have no option but to drive over to the far side of the estate to drop it off for collection.

Tâf

The lad received his £90 order from Approved Foods.

A Temu order didn't arrive on time, then a neighbour told me that "a strange man" had been around the side of the house after midnight. There I found the package.

An invite to arrange my next colonoscopy. I hope they have responded to feedback and changed the laxative flavour away from the awful vanilla flavour.

The colonoscopy prep kit. Forms to fill in, stool softener to take for 3 days, then the laxative that has been changed away from the awful vanilla one that you had to drink so much water with that you slosh as you move. One dose in the evening, then one at 5 am ( :o  :o ) on the day of the procedure.

"Bring a change of underwear" was the last bit of advice I was given by the nurse.

Also a request for the GP to get blood tests, a full panel as I have not had a blood test in many years.

More bumph about the upcoming colonoscopy.

2 letters from HMRC. One says 24/25 I paid £26 too much tax which I can claim back. The other for 25/26 says they think I will owe £42, so they fiddle my income to get that back.

They could have just taxed my State Pension, but that would raise too many pensioners' hackles, I suspect.

Mike

Amazon delivery. first Christmas present, a book about the universe for my youngest guest niece who is into her astronomy

Tâf

Temu item, and a letter to day that my Civil Service Pension is up by £2 a month as I now have part of the missus' tax allowance.
