There IS poverty, there, yes. We're supposedly the fifth richest country in the world, though, and we need foodbanks.

The government could spend a bit on helping. But, of course, they preferred to give bucketfuls of cash to the grouse shooting industry,

I don't watch it anymore.  Can't stand z list so called celebrities patting themselves on the back and the constant 'let's give a round of applause' to some no mark who wants five minutes of fame and his company advertising.
Am very cynical about celebrity who want us to pay while they take the glory.

Hate children in need.

Its better to give to individual charities... It's a money machine.

Though a lot of charities pay their top staff way too much.


Don't watch much TV these days, it's all rubbish.

I give to local charities, as they tend to have less overheads.

Of course, I also live near the Royal British Legion Village  and never fail to donate to them, even though I'm sure some of that gets creamed off.

What little we can afford, we tend to go for animal charities, or kids ones.

'course, with the blue Mafia in power, we donate to food banks, too.
