Blue and calm all day, so it's not surprising that it only got up to 2c. The MinMax thermometer says it went down to -3c for a while last night.

The BBC weather has forecast "rain" for tonight and most of tomorrow.

Snowed last night, now heavy cloud and cold

It dropped to -2c by 6pm, so everything that was wet turned to ice. People and cars were slipping badly, and a deliveroo rider was having very bad problems.

2c now, and a spattering of snow on the car and house roofs, and very gloomy.

Not as icy as the other day, but still slippery in places. -2c at 7am.

It has struggled to get to 2c with the overcast sky. The heating has been struggling too, despite coming on at 7am, it was only 17.5c in the bedrooms at 11am. I shall lift the rad temperature from 60 to 65.
