The first proper downpour has just started.

It was hazy blue and calm, but is now blue with clouds at a chilly 9c.

It's still blowing hard, but is now all blue and 16c. The next few nights are forecast to be brassic.

Cloud kept the heat in, so it's still 16c. It's damp after an early shower, and bits of blue are appearing.

Sunset in a blue sky, then it quickly became totally overcast. The forecasts all said "rain before dawn" but the radar shows it arriving now on a stiff breeze. 14c.

A squall line hit, but it only lasted a couple of minutes. It was followed by an hour of invisidrizzle.

Lots of blue this morning, and that strong breeze still makes 14c feel cold.

Solid blue at 22c, but still enough of a breeze to make spraying weedkiller dangerous.
