I told our poor neighbour that a piece of the chimney lead flashing had come adrift (magpies tug at it). 9am this morning and I was woken by someone tapping it back into place.

OK slept  well on top of the bed last night

It was not as humid as expected, so I slept well.

I slept well, but I'm still waking too early.

I'm a bit woozy this morning.

Woke up at about 2.30 and couldn't drop off again

This new batch of Shiraz is still marked as 13.5%, but it hit me hard last evening, so I'll cut down how much of it I'll be drinking.

I slept like a log, and woke a bit woozy. The air was so humid this morning.

All I heard of the binmen was the clinking of bottles just after 7am. The electric truck is soooo quiet.

It was a very warm night, but I slept fairly well.
