Heavy rain around 4am woke me, but I dropped-off again.

I was sent an email from the colonoscopy department to say I should have nothing but fluids from 1pm tomorrow, and to purge my gut starting at 5pm, then the next morning from 5am before the "expected" time of the procedure around 1pm.

The last time, I only had to drink one small dose of the magic laxative before bed the day before. Now I have to drink 4 litres of the stuff, 250ml every 30 minutes for 2 hours before bed, and a further 250ml every 30 minutes for 2 hours the next morning.!!

And I have to catch the bus for the long journey at 9:30!!

I might need a nappy.

The deluge woke me, then the binmen, then it was the cars driving through the flooded road.

It feels like I was awake all night, afraid to fart in case it was the runs.

I've been up since 4:45 to finish the last of the gut cleanse.

In a bit of shock, just had a bump in my car, truck pulled out on me and I hit the one in front of me and caved in the front end

Despite such a long day, I found it hard to drop off last night, and I woke just after 6 again.

Whatever it is that wakes me around 6am doesn't seem to happen much at the weekends, so today I woke just before 10.
