I booked the car in for 8:30, out by noon. I got it there at 8:25 and was told it would be ready at 5pm (rush hour). 

I booked it in on the phone and confirmed online as "full service without oil change, oil filter/air filter/cabin filter change". Coolant change and MOT test". I was told it was only booked in for a coolant change and MOT test. If I wanted anything else done, the next appointment was in July.   

I got a bus into the city centre, but got bored after half an hour, so I came home. Our bus is now twice an hour, and only once an hour at the weekend!

MOT test pass shows online (668 miles travelled since last MOT), but I can't get through to the garage to find out when I can collect it.

I finally got through to them and was told I would get a callback ASAP. It happened... 40 minutes later. So then it was a very slow bus trip to the garage, and a slower drive home due to building traffic.

Change coolant man-hours : £184.50. Coolant: £20.58. They won't mark the handbook as "coolant changed". And they won't reset the servicing warning light unless an annual oil change is done by them.

 I found scratches on the car that were not there when I took the car to the garage.

My bladder alarm woke me. At least it wasn't a taxi horn or the binmen.
