Something woke me at 5:05, then again at 8:05.

I was woken at 5:05 again, so got up to see a taxi waiting a few doors up. Out came a bloke with a black bin. BOOM! as he dropped it into place.

He got into the taxi, but they were obviously waiting for another passenger. 2 minutes later, the driver honked the car horn and out came another bloke, and off they went.

Then at 6:35 the binmen arrived.

From then on, it was the Tesco gulls making a racket

Then at 8:05, another taxi beeping his car horn, at the same house. Out came another 2 men!

I'm too knackered to sleep now, so it'll be nap time after lunch at this rate.

I can't stand this weather. Its really getting me down. Another week of the sh!te   to come too.

Orbit energy has just emailed to say that their prices are rising from 1st October.

Electricity per unit up 75% (before VAT)

Gas up 62% (before VAT)

Estimated overall annual bill up 55% (before VAT). Almost £500 extra per year.

I fully expect all the other companies to do much the same.

Middle brother is on fixed with Octopus until January 1st. He told me last evening that every company is adding around £50 per month from October 1st.

I saw a few neighbours pushing notes through the door the 4 (or more) blokes are living in. No 5am taxi horn this morning, but the 8am one did.

8am taxi horn was quickly followed by 2 women yelling at the driver.
