A short nap helped a lot.

The LED strobes of the bin lorry woke me just after 6:30.

I woke long before the alarm was due, then couldn't drop off again.

The drop-off zone at the hospital entrance was full of parked taxis again.

The missus had to wait an hour as all the ECG pads had gone to the ER overnight.

Awake

I was woken by a nurse calling from the hospital just after 8, but dropped-off again until the postie knocked at 10:50. 

The quilt had not only turned 90 degs, but flipped over.

Didn't want to get up this morning

[Tâf]

The forecast was for a much cooler night, so I put the central heating on. It woke me this morning as the pipes creaked and clanked. That sorts itself out after a couple of days, then it won't be waking us during the winter.

Groggy

Me too, I was woken not after 8 by the whine of the street-sweeper. Picking-up 10 leaves and blowing one more off the trees. And it's just gone past yet again.

I was totally pooped after my garden labours yesterday, but I still woke today at 6:30 on the dot.
