The council guys arrived almost 2 hours after we were told they were on their way.

They vacuumed the gutters and left. Their work order did not mention the blocked downpipes or drains.

Despite the heat, I woke under the quilt. That didn't continue.

Sleeping with windows open is not easy when you have a dickhead driving past again and again playing loud music from about 5am to 6am. 

Then I could hear Silver out the front being territorial with something. Pol brought her in after seeing her facing-off a big dog-fox.

It felt OK when I stirred after 5am, but it felt so humid at 8am, that I had to get up and dry off.

the Aldi car park was like walking across the Sahara.

I was woken by noises outside from about 6am.

Rubbish nights sleep

I woke at a reasonable hour, but then stated yawning....
