I woke up during another vivid dream, all hot and bothered.

[Tâf]

Yesterday, Silver was sleeping on the pavement when a neighbour thought she was a kitten in distress. Then them next door called me over asking if the kitten she was holding was ours.

"No, it's one of your cats that ran away, but eventually adopted us 15 years ago".

Half an hour later, we realised that Silver was nowhere to be found. She hadn't even arrived for bedtime after dark.

Pol had a search around, and I did the same this morning.

I mentioned that she was missing to the neighbour who thought she had been a kitten in distress, and half an hour later she came over to show me a photo on a local FB page.

It was Silver, so she messaged the poster, and she came here to say she had picked her up as she seemed weak and dishevelled. That is how she always looks, especially at her advanced age.

So we walked back to collect her.

She is now on house arrest for a while, and is not happy about it!

I first woke after 10, rolled over, and it was suddenly lunchtime!

I woke, tied in knots in the summer quilt just after 4.

[Tâf]

Too hot to nap. 

[Mike]

Well I'm up

[Tâf]

My legs were cocooned in the quilt when I woke up.

[Mike]

Slept a bit better last night

[Tâf]

I was woken by the electric bin-lorry's strobe lights just after 4. Then by the crashing of the glass recycling before 8, and then by magpies scrapping with the jackdaws after that. I feel sooooo weary.

I woke at stupid o'clock, but dropped-off until a reasonable hour.
