I found out this afternoon why I wasn't woken at 6am. The guy who normally has a go at the bl**dy taxi drivers has been on permanent nights for a while, so he hadn't heard the car horn for a while. But he did yesterday, his first full night's sleep in ages.

He ripped the driver a new one, surrounded by a multitude of South Asian young men who were on a shift change.

[Tâf]

No 6am wake-up, in fact no noisy binmen either, so it was a decent kip.

[Mike]

I woke, got bored, got up, and was surprised to see it was almost 10am.

I just checked the Premium Bonds.

The twins got nothing.
The missus got £225.
I got £300.

Tired today

[Tâf]

I had a nice, though short, nap.

[Mike]

Weary again

[Tâf]

I woke too early and didn't drop off again, so I'm already shattered.

[Tâf]

A student parked her car fully on the road outside our home. Almost immediately, a guy also parked fully on the road, but on the opposite side.

It only took a couple of minutes before a van driver folded their wing mirrors so that he could get by.

[Tâf]

A little while later a skip lorry arrived and started honking his horn and shouting out of his window. He was on the phone to the police when the first driver returned, got an earful of very colourful language, and drove off at speed.

The wind in the tress woke me a few times.

[Mike]

Actually manages to sleep in a bit

[Tâf]

A short nap was disturbed by the noise of the wind.

[Mike]

I woke before dawn, but dropped-off again for a while.
