I woke totally confused after a short nap. Already dark, so was it morning or evening.

My blood test results are finally back. Liver and kidneys all perfect, the rest is OK apart from a slightly low red cell count.

All 4 colon polyps were benign, and the large one has been donated to a genetic study who will micro scan it.

Sort of awake

I was woken by the van door slam, then minutes later by an automated flood warning call,

[Tâf]

I had a short nap, but still feel lethargic.

[Tâf]

It was not a slamming van door that woke me, but my innards reacting to an OD of chilli yesterday.

Managed a bit of a lie in

I wasn't woken until the lad got up around half 8.

[Tâf]

I need a nap.

I think the slamming van door person has been warned, as I haven't heard it for a few days.

and a snotty nose.

The front entrance to the hospital was in uproar as a skip was being offloaded into the no-parking zone. Taxi drivers were giving the driver hell for blocking access.
