So sign of the binmen yet, and the street is dead quiet, so I don't know what is waking me.

A 30-minute nap was very welcome.

I set an alarm for 6:58, got up and looked out of the window.

At 7:01 a large white van arrived, 8 guys got out and went into a house. 10 guys came out of the house and got into the back of the van. Then the last one in slammed the back door shut. Definitely loud enough to have woken me.

The Council says there are no HMO's in our area, so I used their online reporting thing to report "Overcrowding of a home". That makes 4 within 100 yards of here. Let's see what the Council does now.

My ears are tuned to it now, so I heard the van door slam just after 7. 

Resident Permit Parking is now live, but there are still loads of students who think it doesn't apply to them.
