Knackered. Something woke me at 4:26, and I couldn't drop off again.

Ditto, the wake-up time can't be a coincidence.

The "usual suspects" were mad as the turkeys, turkey crowns and beef roasts were all at full price, but 50% off for loyalty cardholders, and a big sign said "Max One Per Loyalty Card Per Day". No limit on Gammons and Pork joints though.

They kept on turning up at the tills with trolleys full of the restricted items, only to be blocked from buying them all.

I woke before dawn again, but managed to roll over and have a lie-in.

I was woken just before 9 by the GP asking for the lad (another blood test required).

The bin lorry woke me at 5:57, 6:20 and 8:10.

It was almost silent here, and I think we were the only people who came out at midnight.
