The roar of the rain woke me several times, so I'm a bit tired.

I went to bed paying 12p per kwh for electricity and 2.6p per kwh for gas.

I got up today paying 22p per kwh for electricity and 4.4p per kwh for gas.

Plus the standing charges of course.

Trouble dropping off again last night

I slept well, but was woken by van doors slamming just after 8am.

Cars driving through the deep puddles woke me.

Something woke me just before 8, but I dropped-off again and woke with pins and needles in the right arm. I've not had pins and needles for years.

Weary as I was woken too early by scaffolders a few doors down.

As I drove into Lidl, 3 blokes were loading cartons of UHT milk into a van. They barged past many people to get back to the milk, and cleared the stacks 100%.

So I dropped into our local Lidl on the way home. No milk. 3 guys had cleared their stocks earlier.

2 blokes were clearing all the cheaper pasta from the shelves in Sainsbury's. No UHT milk there either.

Asda had some, but the price is up from 55p to 78p, so I didn't bother.

Set of panic buying sh*ts. The supermarkets should refuse to sell in bulk like that. Its exactly the same as the beginning of lockdown with pasta and toilet rolls  I've not been able to get long life milk for ages. I hope the cartons explode on them
