I had a lie-in, but the metal fairies were around with their loudhailers.

Payments on B&Qs website keep "losing connection".

I lay down after putting the shopping away, but postponed an actual nap until after teatime.

I woke after dawn, and decided to have a short lie-in. 

[Tâf]

I lay down waiting for a neighbour to call to do a little job for her. I woke 2 hours later, and she still hadn't phoned.

I had a good sleep for once. Got up just before 10.

[Tâf]

The water went off for a couple of minutes whilst I was covered in soap in the shower.

Up early as smart meter being installed

Dozens of schoolkids came into Lidl, and their phones tried to access the wifi. Total shutdown ensued, with people unable to use the Lidl app for discounts.

The deputy manager connected to the site using his data allowance, and made a hotspot by his till. That meant I got my 10% discount of £12.60.....

I was awake at 7am when the heating tripped-on, then drifted in-and-out for a couple of hours.

[Tâf]

I tried for a nap, but couldn't relax.
