I tried for a lie-in but got bored.

Feel like I've wasted my evening messing around trying to deal with Virgin. Again!
Daughter tried to ring and said the phone was constantly engaged. So tried it, it was dead. Went on the service status. No known problems. Went on our local estate group and a few people have the same problem.

Now I've had problems with virgin saying it is our equipment and not them at fault before....
So, Went on virgin site and a chat agent. Then, name, email, password, mobile phone no. Landline no. I honestly was losing the will to get it fixed. Told him that we have medical eople who ring us by landline and when will it be fixed, others locally have the same problem so it must be a local fault.
No, he said, I will send an engineer on Wednesday,  but if it is your equipment, then there will be a charge

Finally the app says there is a problem in my area

I used to ring my mum at 6pm every Sunday. When she had passed, I rang my brother or one of the kids x

They are always very reluctant to declare an area fault, as that means getting out the big guns... the network engineers.

I'm up, but a bit woozy.
