Door lock mechanism and vac filters for an elderly neighbour. The lock is £60 in Screwfix, but only £13 on ebay!

The lock is easily changed in 15 minutes, but a locksmith quoted her £220+ VAT!  :o  :o

It seems Aldi thought we all did BBQs on Bonfire Night, as there were loads of 2kg trays of chicken legs SIXTY PERCENT off.

Booze and fags. I just know Mi keHunt is going to hammer them tomorrow.

Mike

Some more Fire glow bulbs from eBay as I have just used my last one

Cat litter tray liners. I had to drive to the other side of the city to get them as all the other places have changed to undersized thin ones.

Whilst I was there, I nipped into Sainsburys to buy ciggies for the missus.

A leg of lamb for xmas, and loads of other food and drink.

A Dacia Logan MCV Estate, 3 years old and 44k on the clock. £7,599.

I got 4 new tyres and trims, a new spare wheel and tyre, a new tool kit and a tonneau cover, plus 25 litres of petrol.

Ill tax, insure and collect it on 2nd January.

An Air Fryer bought with my Christmas vouchers, being delivered today from Amazon

The last time I did a fill-up for the Skoda Felicia it was July:

37 litres at 194.9p/l = £72.11

I just filled the Dacia Logan for the first time 5 months later with the Skoda running on fumes:

48 litres at 146.7p/l = £70.50

Spare batteries for the car keyfobs, tie-wraps to keep the wheel trims on, and LED bulbs to replace the very poor courtesy bulbs.

I found loads of cheap meat in Morrisons. A leg of lamb for £3! Pork tenderloin 50p, and sausages 40p.

The large bags of dry catfood were £3.30 off too.

Veg to make Cawl, and bread to dip into it. Then 18 bottles of wine, it's £4.99 at the moment, but the guy in charge of the booze says there is a big price hike coming soon.

A battery from ebay for a friend's watch. It's an odd one that does not usually arrive as part of the blister ack collections.

Tâf

Loads of food and 2 Faraday wallets for my keys and cards. There has been a spate of card cloning all over the city.
