I have not been to Lidl after 7pm for ages. After 7pm, all in-store bakery items were automatically reduced by 20%.

Not now. Now you have to activate a coupon in their app after 7pm.

The checkout girls spotted this, refunded me the bread and cakes, told me to do the activation, then put them all through gain, this time with 20% off.

Then I noticed she had put cherries through twice, so I got one pack free, but £3.49 for the other. Quickly refunded with no hassle.

I've just made a near £300 beer order for the lad. But it's far cheaper online due to them ignoring the Welsh Minimum Price for Alcohol.

I saved £10.40 with the 10% off at Lidl.

Aldi: Pork loin roast down from £8 to £2; a large back of bacon down from £6 to £1.50.

A Temu order arrived for tyhe missus, clothes again, but I had added some odds'n'sods for me that would have cost much more in UK shops.

The lad spent around £50 on stuff from Approved Foods. He now has a large box of snacks in his room. I think he may only come out to drink and to visit the loo.

I put in a beer order yesterday after tea. It's on it way already, due to arrive around noon.  :o

We were in Heron Foods umming and ahhing over sachets of microwaveable Hot and Sour soup at 49p each. We were about to walk away when the manager offered us the last box of 20 for £2.40 (12p each).

The lad and I just had one each for lunch, and they are superb!

Impatiens pants were 6 for £2 last week, today they are back to being 10 for £2, so I bought 2 lots to plant out front.

Shoes for the lad, and shoes and slippers for myself. £2 off each.

Chicken wings (30% off) and sushi snacks (30% off).

Morrisons has had a display of bulk oil, basmati rice and cooking oil at the front of the shop for a few weeks, hardly any takers by the looks of it. Today they dropped all by 50%, so I bought 5 litres of sunflower oil for £5, 5 litres of rapeseed oil for £5, and 2 10kg bags of basmati rice at £5 per kg.

A new PC monitor for the missus, and a new wall-mounted hand vac for the kitchen.

Curry's website took an hour to say that the ones they had were actually all out of stock, so I chose Amazon instead and £11 cheaper overall. They say it's a Saturday delivery, but they usually arrive a lot earlier than that.

An online beer order for the lad, then mine appeared back in stock, so I jumped before it all vanished again.
