Pulled a sick day in work today and might do tomorrow too. But that's all.

I'm still waking too early.

I bumped in to an old widow that used to run the local Post Office. She went into hospital for a hip joint replacement a week before covid officially arrived. She then caught it in hospital and spent the next 124 days fighting for her life.

She's just had her second hip done, but is as sprightly as ever.

[Tâf]

Still no heating on. Our bedroom normally stays above 20c, but it's now 18c. Time to change to winter quilts.

I woke too early, but could not drop off again.

The second morning when the bedroom is at 17.5c, but I don't feel the chill... yet.

3 nights of fireworks terrifying the dog and I got up this morning to her pee and poo on my rug . Everywhere else in laminate and luxury vynil and she chose the one area that is a pain to clean 
One more firework tonight if they dare

I was so engrossed with the film "Battle of Midway" that I OD'ed on vino. I slept like a log.
