Struggle to get up again

My jaw woke me several times during the night.

The boss dentist popped both abscesses and I had instant relief. Antibiotics and special mouthwashes now, once Tesco gets stock this afternoon.

Follow-up treatments on 2nd of January with a new dentist as 2 left for private practice. That's why the boss was in from his home in Portugal.

Didn't want to get up again

I woke, ignored the clock, got bored, then got up just after 10. No dental pain this morning.

The binmen didn't wake me, but neighbours taking their bins in did.

Tired after the drive

The whine of the roadsweeper woke me not long after 8. I think I would have slept for ages otherwise.

The roads and the shops were manic. Asda was turning people away as the car park was full at 9:30 this morning, and the queues were several hundred yards long in all directions.

Unlike Lidl and Aldi, Tesco had sprouts that were a decent size, and only 15p.

I woke around 9, but dropped off again for an hour.

A gap in the curtains let too much light in, so I woke early.
