I'm already bored with the rain.

Tesco (and Boots and the local pharmacy) will no longer automatically send in requests for Repeat Prescriptions to the GP surgery.

We have to log onto the NHS Wales app and request Repeats from the GP Surgery 72 hours before we intend the pharmacy to collect the Script and fulfil it.

But the bloody app demands a video recording of your face from your phone or PC top carry out verification. I don't have a webcam!!!

15 minutes before we were due to get into the car, the diabetes clinic phoned to cancel today's appointment.



I was woken by the metal fairies and their loudhailer, thought it was still early, but looked at the clock, and it was time to get up.

I need a nap, but have things to do.

The missus' BIL, 4 months older than me, went in for his annual checkup last Monday. Samples taken, and all was expected to be OK as he has always been in perfect health.

He dropped into the GP to get his results on Thursday and was immediately taken by ambulance to the nearest large hospital 50 miles away. Scans found something, and was told he would be kept in for "a while".

Today he was told that he will not make it though this week. There is nothing they can do.

The binmen seemed to lurk outside our house for ages just before 8.

The pavements around the 4 Hornbeam street trees are finally being sorted. They did one up the road yesterday, then appeared outside our home this morning. They advised that I shift my car off the driveway. I did so, then their boss told them to move to the tree the furthest away the other end of the street.

I asked why, and was told that the roots are so close to the surface that they have to wait for an arborist's inspection.

Reversing sounders woke me at exactly 8. But at least the contractors didn't start making other noise until exactly 9.

The missus told me that my afternoon nap resulted in a few snores. 

[Tâf]

The missus' prescription items are "out of stock nationwide". GPs are scrambling to find alternatives, but there are no stocks across Europe either.

The missus and I lay down for a short nap, and woke 2 hours later. 

[Tâf]

I only woke just before 10. 

[Tâf]

The pharmacist swore blind 3 times that the item the missus is still missing "does not exist". I asked him to look at Pol's prescription, and there it was, available for well over 2 years. It's their computer that is coding it wrong.

Something woke me before dawn, and then I drifted in-and-out for ages until I got bored.
