I feel better this morning, despite waking several times.

A short nap was all I needed. I feel more alert now.

"There is an active Covid infection risk on *Ward 7b*. Visitors are requested to wear masks and use the hand-sterilising station outside the ward doors. Unnecessary visits, especially those out of standard visiting hours, are forbidden. Adults only should visit, but not those with underlying health risks".

Cold shoulders woke me a few times. It's time to change to a winter quilt.

Pooped without an afternoon nap.

I couldn't sleep, so stayed up later to watch tele. The missus "might" be allowed home today, so we have to stay near the phone.

I was about to drive Pol to her diabetes appointment when I heard the lad on speakerphone "It will be a 5-hour wait for an ambulance, but we will not be treating this as an emergency". Stomach pains again, and he went off like an overwound tin toy. I told him to cancel the ambulance and I will drive him to ER.

I hope he likes waiting, as he is marked down as a "frequent flyer with the same complaint each time".

The missus is home with another increase in her diuretic meds.

I dropped the lad off at ER after telling him to cancel an ambulance. I suspect he will get very bored in the waiting room.

Pol is home with lots of diabetes homework to do.

Glad she's home Tâf.

The lad came home after a 7-hour wait and a 5-minute consultation. "See your GP and stop coming here" was the gist of it.

The hospital got the missus back to early rising, so she was up at 7 making breakfast. But now she's back on the bed, snoring.

I still can't get an account on NHS Wales' app. It keeps asking for a webcam to make a movie of my face.
