I woke tired again.

I just lay there awake until Silver decided she wanted to go out.

Our streetlights were updated to LED today. 5% of the power, 12 times the life. It's so bright out there!

We  had all new lights about 5 years ago, a lot brighter

This waking early thing is depressing.

Ugh roadworks all the way to town. Got to Morrisons and no trollies so had to lug two shopping baskets round. On the way out, trollies galore left in the bays in the car park.    roadworks all the way home again. Seems our daft council are hell bent on bike lanes and bloody congestion charges.

With all that is going-on, a dickhead family has decided to have a very, very loud firework display.

It was banging constantly for almost 10 minutes. Not a single pause.

The fireworks gang were arrested after a few residents sent video to the police. It's illegal to set them off, or launch fire lanterns from council-owned land. Social media exploded (no pun intended) with posts about them.

I woke too early again, but dropped-off until a reasonable hour.

I put the news on this morning and promptly turned it off due to all the misery on it. Flicked it over to rspca animal suffering and crisis donation adverts.
Picked up my phone and scrolling through and it's grim. Nothing but prices going up, war, and people suffering.
So tele is off. Phone on silent and I'm going baking
