A car horn woke me just after 7am. I had a look but could see no car or taxi.

A good sleep, but I still feel weary this morning.

Mike

OK, glad TT is backl

I took the ladies to a posh "farmer's market", and met up with some old mates who sell stuff at them.

I was practically frog-marched to a brewer's stand and asked what I fancied. ???

I had liked and shared a FB post about the market and had won 2 prizes: 3 bottles of his beer, and 3 bottles of my mate's chilli sauces.

I've been visited by two of the kids and had video calls with the other two. Got my flowers and chocolates and feeling very content with life  :)

Gaaaagh now some idiot is burning something horrible out there. Thick black smoke is streaming up from the bottom end of the road. This is an hour after the firemen visited them   :-X

I was sat in the garden when something moved in my side vision. I turened to find a big, fat spider on my shoulder. I jumped up and swatted. No sign of it.

Then I looked at my back in the garden mirror. Like 2 large marrowfat peas with a 3" leg spread, it was on my right shoulder blade and slowly climbing.

Suffice to say it is no more.

Got onto the fields this morning and some low life idiots have set fire to a massive area the grass and some bushes. A farmers field with sheep is within 20 foot of the fire.  It's charred as black as coal and still stinks.
I hope whoever has done this rots  :'(

OK, had to use only one of my new pillows last night as two were to high

I was woken by a disk cutter and jackhammer across the road at 8:20.  :grumpy:

The binmen went through just after 6, but I dropped off again until 9 when a petrol-powered jet washer started its racket across the road.
