Had a rubbish night's sleep. My mind won't relax. I tried music but that didn't work, I found an old radio quiz audible but I ended up answering the questions for crying out loud.   I've done most of the housework and I'm now turning both phones off and putting an audio book on. Something boring.

Tired, finding night shifts a struggle as I can't sleep in the day.. But now I'm looking for a second job as well,as overtime has been cut....

When I did on call if I'd been up all night I couldn't sleep in the day either

I was woken just after 6 again, but dropped-off again. I can feel the effect of that early disturbance though.

I woke a few times, but the last time was due to contractors across the road. That is still going on, so I got up early.

The head dentist has set the thermostat to 17c in the entire building!

I slept well, but I'm still a bit weary.

Monday morning, and the damned taxi was beeping his horn again!
